Lenny Feder (Adam Sandler) moves his family back to his hometown to be with his friends, but he finds -- what with old bullies, new bullies, party crashers and more -- that he hasn't left the crazy life behind in Los Angeles. Lenny's friends must also cope with their own challenges: Eric (Kevin James) must face his ultimate fear; Kurt (Chris Rock) has gone back to work as a cable repairman; and Marcus (David Spade) learns that he has an 18-year-old son.

Sandler's films have always been stupid, but the early stuff is pretty harmless; here the jokes almost always come at the expense of someone else, the kind of needless bullying one expects of a YouTube comment section.

Jace E If you take out all the burpsnarting, this movie might go up half a star. I went in with low expectations and those expectations were <i>barely<i> surpassed.The plot is shallow, the jokes are crude and there isn't much substance to it, but it looked like the cast was having a genuinely good time filming. I wish that some of the plot points, particularly those with the kids were explored a bit more. The moment with talking to the baby is sweet, but most of the scenes seemed pieced together as an afterthought.Best Character: KeithieBest Quote: "I just want to tell you welcome to the family, and I love you very much." - LennyBest Scene: Cliff-JumpingNote: The two posters that I've seen have either A) the main guys on a roller coaster or B) the main guys driving go-carts.
